Chapter 73

"So you never stopped loving me?"

"No. I couldn't. I kept thinking about you. Dreamt about you. Kept seeing images of you around me. You have no idea how much I missed you when you were gone. I kept nagging my parents to find you."

Our food and drinks arrived and we started eating and drinking and talking to each other.

"Jevan, I missed you too. You were everything to me. My first everything. Mama didn't want us to be together and it was the first time I stood up to her. I thought she would have knocked the crap out of me..."

We laughed again.

"But then she started accepting you bit by bit."

"Do you hear from her, is she still..."

"Yes and yes. Although she's completely innocent."

"I'll get someone on her case," I said.

"Thank you. We'll both appreciate it. She's the only family I have apart from my son."

"I understand. I'm here for you now. I'm not going anywhere. Okay?"

She smiled sweetly at me. That smile could light up an entire room. I'll never get bored of seeing that.

"So, what took you so long?" she asked again.

"Huh?"

"To rekindle."

"Truthfully, I thought I owed Adobi a fair chance to love me. Maybe it was my guilt which had me thinking this way. I tried to love her and I did love her. I just wasn't in love with her."

"Jevan, are you sure you're ready to make the step of being with me and your son, because your life isn't going to be the same."

"Blossom, having a family with you was a dream of mine since high school. Now that I can actually have that chance, you think I'm going to pass it up?"

"Then, let's do it. I'm so ready. Hearing your words, I believe you're ready too."

We finished our dinner and left the restaurant. Together, we went for a drive underneath the lit sky.

I stopped my Range Rover at the familiar coastal cliff.

"Remember here?" I asked her.

She looked around. We got out and started walking.

"Yeah. This was the first place we had our heated make-out."

"And if I can recall correctly, you wanted me on the backseat," I teased.

"Nah. You wanted me," she joked.

"No no no. You did all the wanting," I joked back.

We laughed so hard and I wrapped her in for a hug before kissing her forehead.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Let's go home to our son."

Blossom's POV

I was thrilled more than ever, ever since Jevan and I decided to become official again and this time, we were going to raise our son together as a family.

Jason and I had moved into Jevan's mansion but I decided to occupy a guest bedroom instead of sharing the Master with Jevan. I wasn't fully ready for that major leap and thankfully Jevan understood that part.

It was another weekend and Jevan had decided to take Jason and myself out on his yacht. We had an early start and Jason was more than excited when his father told him that he was going to teach him how to swim with a dolphin.

Upon arriving to the luxury yacht which was expected by a Hollen, we greeted the personal chef and the captain with warm smiles and handshakes.

We embarked. The sunny sky was suited for sailing and the breeze acted as if it wanted to rip my clothes off my body.

I found a lounge chair, took down my thick hair from the tight bun, and rested while enjoying the breeze as we entered into the ocean.

"Daddy, are the dolphins coming as yet?" Jason wouldn't stop nagging his father.

"Soon son," he answered everytime.

I laughed to myself. That's Jason for you. You can't get him excited because he's going to bother you every step of the way.

"Here," I heard Jevan said. I opened my eyes and he was standing over me with a fruit punch. Sitting up, I took it.

"Thanks."

"So, ever been on one of these?"

"No. It's my first time but I really do like it."

"You haven't even seen the interior of it."

He took my hand and Jason's and led us inside. I was taken away by the sights. This yacht was better than most houses.

The cabins were like small apartments with its own shower and bath. There was a bar with tons of wines from different countries around the world and there was a large sitting room and dinning room area.

Moving lower below decks, I caught sight of two jet ski.

"Where exactly are we going to? Just the middle of the sea?" I asked Jevan.

"Actually, it's to an underwater resort getaway my aunt established."

"And it's underwater?"

"Yep. Everything is but it's very safe and if you love this yacht, you're going to fall in love with the resort. Trust me."

"I do," I responded with a smile.

He pulled me in for a hug and a quick peck on the lips.

"Daddy, kiss mommy longer," Jason said, looking between us.

Jevan chuckled and obliged to his son's instructions who clapped for us afterwards.

"Daddy, are the dolphins at the resort?"

"Yeah. In a special tank and they can't wait to swim with you."

"Are there Great White sharks too?"

"No."

"Why? Great Whites are cool. The guy on Animal Planet said so."

"They are but they're also predators and hunting machines. They enjoy hunting for their meals than being fed and locked up in a box all day and night. So it's best to keep them free in the ocean. Understood?"

"Okay," Jason beamed.

After we were served with our meals and drinks, we arrived at the Underwater resort which was named 'Aquarius'.

The resort was constructed along an atoll in the sea with almost eighty percent of the building being underwater.
